His third year? I mean, anything he was going to get done had to happen the first two years when Republicans didn’t hold the House. I feel like the pro-Trump crowd has made a very concerted effort from the first second of the Biden administration to create a narrative that literally every move Biden makes is the greatest atrocity or bungled attempt the world has ever seen, like on sight, with no legitimate assessments being done, just “Biden is doing a thing! Spin it to be TERRIBLE!” or “A bad thing happened just because it’s life and random bad shit happens all the time! Spin it to be a direct result of Joe Biden’s leadership!” (To be fair, the left did this with Trump, just gave him no shot from the rip, everything is bad because he did it)

So with something like passing bills and acts and all that…. the gameplan the last year is “Stymie absolutely everything, without even weighing the pros and cons, and just make it seem like this guy is hopelessly ineffective and is just drooling in the Oval Office having tapioca pudding spoon-fed to him.” That’s really what bothers me about it. The disingenuousness, the political football game being played just so these bozos on both sides of the aisle can fund-raise and keep their jobs another term before checking out for a sweet no-show Board of Directors job with some company they were being bribed by while in office, lmao.

So anyway…. first half Biden is what he is. I like The Chips Act, American Recovery Act, etc…. I don’t think he’s pushed for bad ideas. But you can only get so much done with an unfriendly Congress determined to make you look like a clown. I wasn’t made about the Afghanistan withdrawal, I don’t care how we “look” to the rest of the world, that’s dumb ego-based thinking. Also, if you sign up at the recruitment center, all respect to you, but don’t be shocked when a suicide bomber blows you up at the airport on the way out of town. It’s ugly, and I sure don’t mean to be disrespectful, but you literally signed up for this outcome. If you just want a cool uniform and to be able to call yourself a veteran for oohs and ahhs from others and get some measure of automatic respect, the military is not for you, you’re in it for the wrong reasons. Getting your head blown off is potentially part of the deal, gruesome as it is. And it sucks when it happens, but not for nothing, you’re over there trying to blow THEIR heads off, and the whole feud is subjective, no one is objectively the hero in the story, it’s two groups of humans acting dumb towards one another, so I mean, what are we even talking about here, you know?

Anyway, but if a tangent, but Biden…. he’s fine. He’s dotty, which is amusing, but I don’t think the dude is unable to make decisions, particularly with staff and advisers around him. Running for a second term is kinda wild at his age, honestly, but now we’re back to the football game and shit is dumb, lmao. Incredible that we have hundreds of millions of people in this country and we can’t find ANYONE even a little bit impressive to run for office. Unbelievable. Humans, man🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

A smart guy pointed out to me that people wrongfully assume that Biden is doing a horrible job. He's doing a great job. Grocery prices are insane. The cost of living is through the roof. The third war is beginning. Biden flat out said that he was going to get rid of fossil fuels. He shut down the Keystone pipeline. He gave his best friend Vlad permission to finish his pipeline. He doesn't give a crap about our border being invaded.

So before you can determine if he's doing a good job or not, you need to first understand his motivation.

he set into motion a lot of the mess I see we have and then is sustaining it. so not too much too awful... were still alive... for now. I won't get into how he required the military to take covid and how recruitment is down and the suicide rate is up. that started in first two years.

I believe in 3rd term he cancelled ability to mine lithium in one area out west... I don't get that... when he's pushing e-cars. started sucking oil out of the SPR... how much oil is left in that. he's quoted as saying "White supremacy is the greatest threat to democracy" ... not long ago.

Also... around that time was the Israel attack/war. I personally think he did fairly well, but also... could be better. easy to be a critic, I'll refrain.

Also in his 3rd term, he approved building a wall to protect southern border. what a ludicrous idea... what are they smokin' and drinkin' in there?

Presidents don't actually do anything, they are just a public face to distract people, so there isn't a point to talking about "performance", any changes made while in office, they were forced to make, while reading a script, by people who did not get elected and never leave their seat of influence.

Its like this in most (if not all) countries that give the illusion of voting. The rest are openly dictatorships rather than hiding it.
