Society is collapsing. Women aren’t having enough kids, they’re told their career is more important. They are told to be selfish and put themselves first. Empowered to act like men instead of accept the female life purpose is to give life. I’m not saying getting educated is wrong, why isn’t having kids and a family empowerment?

Everyone’s so toxic, broken and wrong about life. Life’s gonna get so hard for men to procreate. Only 1/17 men have procreated in history.

I agree in parts of you. Yes society is struggling and yes most people nowadays seem selfish and toxic but I don´t think that liberalism is the problem to all this points because what´s the solution authoritarianism? Conservatism? That would probably lead to similar problems but with less options for a single person to solve their problems. Since a conservative or an authoritarian culture a single person has to follow what the government says.

I think the problems society nowadays are deeper. The work life culture changes, people are sitting more in front of screens less people work out doors. People are stressed out and unhappy. But because societies are way too complex and divers to say that´s THE solution to all problems it´s best to work on your self and find a way to your own happiness.

I think one of the biggest problems is that the sexual revolution sought to correct the stud/slut double standard by encouraging a lot of women unashamed to be promiscuous, when I think the movement should have instead just slut-shamed promiscuous men and encouraged committed monogamous relationships in both sexes.

Casanova was no man to admire. He was a con artist, cheater, compulsive gambler, didn't bother to wife any of the women he impregnated, didn't take care of the children he left behind (almost had sex with one of his daughters, apparently), basically just a completely irresponsible man. Charming but a complete failure of a man when it comes to performing his ultimate male function to be responsible for protecting the families he created.

Then after the sexual revolution, it's like more men and more women wanted to be like Casanova, and that tears away at a critical requirement of human society: biparental upbringing of children.

I see people saying monogamy is unnatural but I actually think it has to be the most natural way of our species since the cost in resources of raising children is absurdly high for human offspring and grows as civilizations become more complex. Human offspring especially need biparental care given those high costs.

If we look at a lot of indigenous tribes like the Inuits as just one of many examples, the men are predominantly monogamous since the resources don't allow them to take more than one wife and properly look after the wife and children. It's only the leaders of the tribe that can sometimes take multiple wives, and not many under such harsh Arctic conditions.

So I actually think monogamy had to be the most common state of our species for the bulk of our evolutionary species simply due to the practical requirements. The skyrocketing rise of single-parent households and baby mamas is arguably the biggest of the root problems behind all the societal problems we see today.

Women not having kids is a good thing. There were 75 million people in the U. S. in 1900. There were 280 million in 2000 and 350 million now, adding 70 million people just in the last 23 years. 80% of them will work in mid- and low-level jobs, cubicles and Walmarts. What are they contributing to life on Earth? To the arts? To culture? To intellect?

well i would say, what you describe as liberalism, is a byproduct of capitalism, so at the root of it is capitalism, but yea, it's definitely a problem. people, especially in western (sweden, switzerland), and capitalist countries like singapore, and japan are having below the 2 children thershold that is required in order to sustain the human race
