I say destructive. I have given my piece on this many times, but will reiterate here. Women are now turning 18 years old and have been exposed to the online world of social media and normalization of sexualizing women for profit. When this site came along in 2020, women were making money hand over fist because it was new and it gave them control of their labor and made them "entrepreneurs" to gain a lifestyle at the cost of identity being made known. Risk for future employment chances. Mental and physical exhaustion and stress from the work required to maintain it.
It has niw been normalized to the point that it is almost rare to see a teenage girl without an OnlyFans. They are being sold a lie of massive profit and exposure and continuous success, not knowing that is far from the case. They are diving into am oversaturated market where only the top 1% of earners make the money they are being told they can make or would make. The ones who push this as empowerment amd rope women into doing it get a cut of the proceeds which is why it still grows, however the average creator makes $300 a month, if that. So they don't make anything and it all comes at the draining of their mental and physical well being to reach the top by making more daring and perverse content for their fans to get that extra money.
So you can't look me in the eyes amd say this is a good thing. This is a horrible thing for women and those that promote it should be ashamed of themselves.
Most of the girls are going to die alone and miserable. Some are going to get married and have kids. Then one day that child will come home in tears because they were made fun of because someone found his/her mommy's onlyfans and is making fun of the kid for his/her mommy being a whore and/or his daddy being pathetic and maybe he isn't even the father.
I think it can be either. It depends on how the individual woman handles that industry and whether or not she makes wise choices around it and wise choices that supports her lifestyle (like choosing a supportive husband or alternative career option.)
Only fans is just porn, so it would be the same as consuming or producing porn - destructive.

t's very destructive for women to reduce their interactions and relationships with men to the extraction of as much money as possible. It makes having a genuine, loving relationship with a male partner pretty much impossible. And it's perishable, even for the few high earners- it's not something you'll be able to do beyond a certain age.
Empowering is being taught that they can become successful in a real career they'll be proud of, including STEM and the business world.
I feel like the youth today are given waayyy too many choices to decide. Some choices are over glorified and made to look reliable when there not. It gives some girls money it gives some guys a place to vent there frustrations its an improper band aid. As a whole this onlyfans is nothing truly new but its a more refined tool for something that will always be there. I would say its keeping women safe in a way. But hurting there mentality. So its nuetral.
case by case scenario...
same as any other things that can "empower" or "destroy" you... that's life pretty much, lol

.
How can it be empowering when it is basically a personalised bodyshop for virtual hookers?🤣🤣🤣
Women wouldn’t have to prostitute themselves if the economy wasn’t such a fucking dumpster fire.
Destructive 100% anyone that says otherwise is a loser, end of story.
It lets women take control of their own business rather than agents, and companies controlling them
I dont see how sexualizing bodies is empowering
I say destructive.
