Parents will have more call ins, force their coworkers to cover and the job won’t be there top priority. Boom you’re out!

Don't believe that to be the case. Employees are now pushing for a better work-life balance, at least office workers. No more unpaid work or taking work home to finish. No more 2 hour each way commute to work if it's not necessary if it can be done from home.
Ultimately if you are unhappy in your job or your employer is treating you like crap you aren't going to care to much about doing your job other than the bare minimum
Employers should look try to be more flexible, its not 1990 where people were tied to their desks and their was a huge administrative staff and typing pool from 9-5. If an employee is doing the work whether it be 7am-3pm or 10am-6pm for the school run and the time is being put in it shouldn't be a problem.
Employees who are parents are probably more loyal and hard working than single or childless Employees because they are less likely to jump ship or avoid doing work.
You can certainly go ahead and do that and then you can prepare to be sued and wind up, paying a lot of money to lawyers and a lot of money in fines as a result. It would be very illegal to do this anywhere in the US. You need some legal advice.
If employers won't hire parents are they prepared to pay more taxes so they can claim unemployment benefits? It would also be a meal ticket for those who don't want to work, just have a baby and you're unemployable and guaranteed free money and a cheap house.

In the US that would be illegal.
Years ago when my Dad was looking for a new secretary he would ask if they had small children at home, figuring that would be a distraction. Now he could be sued for that.
Probably then too...
well don't apply to the job if you aren't going to fuck the boss and be available
You can hire anyone you want, however you need to have a good reason not to hire a member of one of the protected classes in case you get hauled into court. Being a parent does not really qualify as a protected class.
However. Poepole that are parents are more sesponsible and diligent about their jobs. They may call in sick more but maybe not. I know single people that used to call in on Mondays because they were too hung over.
No. It's against the law and it doesn't even make sense. If you're going to go with that line of logic, you may as well let people be able to turn down blacks because they commit massive amounts of crime.
I’m not sure what are worse, your sincere questions where you show everyone how stupid you are, or the edgy ones that are boring and trite.
The best part is you pretending you're some magnate.
You can not hire someone for whatever reason you want, or none at all. No need to say why you DONT hire someone
This is why women should be homemakers while the men work.
If the father has a wife at home to take care of the kids he won't be missing work even if his kids get sick.
yes, an employer should be able to do that
Most people are parents or aim to be.
