Am I entitled to paid parental leave if I get fired?

So I have a feeling that I will be let go but I planned to take my paid parental leave in December. If I get fired this month, will they still paid me for the parental leave?

They all hate me and are trying to give my job to a traveler who doesn’t want to travel anymore. So get rid of the one we hate for the one we left. Her contract ended today from what I heard I’m going to get fired and she’s going to get my job.

I heard I got put in the no rehire list since they couldn’t fired me. Is it permanent or could I wait a couple years then try again if for whatever I decide to leave the company?

Hard to say. I know that when someone gets fired it can be permanent or for a few years. But putting you on a no rehire list I imagine is a permanent thing.

Yeah you were right, they really are trying to get rid of you that badly. You should still look for another job though because if they're going as far as to put you on a rehire list, and they can't fire you, they're still going to find ways to get you out. They will probably start doing things like excluding you - if they haven't already, and setting you up to fail in other ways so that you'll want to just quit. And then the door is closed on you for good. Be looking for something else, yeah.

Yes I did. I took fmla already. You have a year to take your paid parental leave so I decided to take it in December. It’s all in the form that I file.
