i know that people living off of the government that have kids are doing better than me. the more kids they have the more money they get. so much so that they don't have to work! so why take a kid away after knowing this unless you're buying it?

Poverty creates a cheap labor force. If the poor get too educated and too successful they have to be paid less money so the government then has to bring in cheap foreign labor from central and south America.

When jobs go abroad citizens can't partake in the economy because they have no money to partake. So such things have long term effects.
Also JD jobs are more likely to be lost to automation. Countries that trade on cheap labor forces are going to lose jobs as companies come back to America and build automated factories thus no labor force to pay and no transport costs or tariffs.
