Why are there songs that is misandric?

I've seen songs like "all men are pigs" by studio killers, "I hate boys" by Christina aguilera, "yes all men" by banshee, and many other songs that is anti-male. So why are there songs that is a misandrist?

When a woman insults a man, it's punching up. When a woman says 'we run the world' it's punching up. When a man says 'we run the world', he's right. Almost all investors, politicians, explorers, business owners, and people who've made an impact on this world are men. I went to church the other day and the pastor said, 'man was lonely so God gave him women, to love about support them'. So yeah, what's my purpose in my own religion? It's empowering an often powerless group by telling them a pretty lie. Because we have less influence than men, we're allowed to insult them without seeming cruel. Because in reality, our insults hold zero weight.

or is it something targeting an individual

It depends
But it is possible for a womans words to be hurtful.

If you are going around being mean, you may hurt peoples feelings.
Especially if you are mean to people who care about you.

Because songs are a form of expression and can carry messanges in them through the lyrics and many people are angry about the injustice and mistreatment of women by men throughout history and currently, so misandric lyrics can occur when someone is feeling strongly upset about misogyny and use misandric songs as a form of expression or a revenge anthem. Another possible explanation is that the songwriter actually is misandric, but most of the time they are rather expressing their thoughts and feelings about injustice. I personally believe that both misogyny and misandric are bad, and that everyone should view everyone as equal but occasionally misandric songs have helped me express my anger about misogyny and remember that misandric does exist even if it's less common.

Well I can't speak for the others. But Christina Aguilera hates men. It (as is with many women today) was learned from her mom. Her mom chose an abusive partner. And when she finally had the good sense to get away it left Christina without a male role model in her life. The end result is Christina seeks approval from men that she never got from her father. But it has left her with control issues. So any guy she with has to accept that she calls the shots. It also leaves her with the propensity to throw men away when she doesn't get her way.

So to answer your question is it's learned toxicity fueled by pain from past events. But like many women who see things way it's similar to alcoholism. You can't get help if you don't even acknowledge your problem.
