why anybody likes Bad Bunny? I don’t find that trash good. Yet somehow he’s some global sensation?

Very mainstream music for the most part has always been crappy, but it really bottomed out in the late 80s/early 90s. Now it is even worse; music has a "fake" sound due to the HEAVY quantization, auto-tuning, and pitch correction. 99.9% of pop hits today are pure "stock" and computer-processed nonsense that anyone can make by hitting a preset on a computer program.

There is NO real musicianship anymore unless you dig around in the underground. Most of the time there are NO actual musicians on the recordings.

Websites like Bandcamp are a wonderful place to discover good music; just don't hope for anything particularly original.

PS: There are many YouTube videos out there explaining how most modern music is made, and it can be truly depressing to watch.
