No. Believe if a man wants to mansplain , he can. But do I really care? No because I get back at them and believe me, I am good at taking down these kind of men down a notch………not everything must be handled with violence……. use your words, you will know how easy it is
Women talk over people and "womansplain" all the time and yet there's no word for it..
@Joshydavid25 Well, that's just pushing their dogma, and that is more ideological than gender specific.
@Curmudgeon Oh no I'm talking about in regular conversations too.. I got talked over and explained to by women plenty of times.
@Joshydavid25 Ah, so they just assume you could not understand something just because you are a man, even if you have studied it in detail or have had it explained to you ad nauseum before? OK, yah, I could see that happening.
@Curmudgeon Hahahaha Of course.. Not a man per say.. Just that maybe I didn't understand or just talking over me in general.. Or just being condescending.. Basically I'm saying the same thing you're saying.. It's not a gender specific trait.. Since both men and women do it..
Maybe, but ultimately to me is not even a relevant term. 'Mainsplaining' got started in the early 2000s from a bunch of angry white-feminists. Not all white women in general, because there are many who are excellent people and great friends, just white feminist women in college and Wall Street journalists who were intent on bending the world how they wanted it, by even creating terminology to vilify men. These women are the reason why our societies are so messed up.
@ManOnFire All too often, bingo, this is spot on. Your rational response conflicts with their dogma and indoctrination, so they call it "mansplaining".
@Curmudgeon They hate the truth, even when you have women that say the same thing as a man. Then they'll blame it on "ingrained misogyny" for why women don't agree with feminism.
That would be, yes. The appropriate response would be something like "Oh, quit ovary-acting; you sound shetarded".
I mean, if they want to play the sexism game, they should be prepared to play defense, too...

I think mansplaining is actually a compliment. It means that a man is explaining something -- laconically, logically and clearly, unlike women 🤷♂️
@stratford Sorry if the Truth all too often hurts. I suppose you are using the definition of "mansplaining" as a condescending attitude when taken to explaining something to a woman. Fair enough, that can happen. But all too often, a Leftist woman calls any rational explanation that conflicts with her dogma and her indoctrination "mansplaining", when it is not that at all.
It's no different than being womansplained, is it, except that men do it far more often? It's sexist in the sense that it connotes a specific negative to one gender, but I also think it's kinda funny because I get it, when it's applicable. LOL
I honestly believe it was invented by some far right think tank in an attempt to make feminism look like just another faction of dumb bullies.
@normalice these turns are invented by leftists to opress men
Of course you do
That's your opinion
That's again your opinion unfortunately
That's your opinion again
That's your opinion again...
This is once again your opinion on how you see things 😊
It's an opinion you think what you think and believe in makes sense ☺️
That's your opinion once again you think that
No you believe what you want to believe. It's just your opinion
That's your own delusion
At least you changed to men from boys. That was creepy
That's what you think
What you think doesn't concern me. In fact I couldn't care less about your opinion on me
Just another excuse to slag men off by sexually frustrated women, what about femsplaining where guys who can't get a girlfriend complain about women using 100 words when 10 would do, and never give a straight answer to any question?
I would say so.. It seemed like it was basically a way for feminist to shut men up..
Yeah. It's just explaining something to someone.
Yeah
It's like, why do I have to shut up, just because I'm a man?
It is a sexist term and I have only told people to stop mansplaining to be ironic.
I've absolutely been mainsplained to. Many times.
No I'm sure women have done it too but it's more common in society for men to do it because it's ingrained in society at this point. For the longest times throughout this countries history women were second class. Men were dominant and therefore their opinions mattered. Women were to be seen not heard and definitely not taken seriously. That becomes ingrained in society much like racism has. It's getting a lot better mind you but it's hard to completely break.
It definitely happens both ways but far more often one way. I've personally experienced it on a weekly basis.
I often have men tell me how my own vagina works 😂😂
Sexist? Na. Misused? Stupid? YES
it's a meme...
relax, lol
I don't even know what that is.
@Billlewis is there Femsplaining and Brownsplaining? Or are only male and white viewpoints "biased"?
definitely a sexist term
I never have. It probably is.
