An unfortunate result of the unnatural environment where most of them tend to live.
We humans didn't evolve to handle the urban environment, our brains were not build to deal with millions of people only around 500 at most.
It is only expected if you live in that novel environment, a lot of things are not going work as they were evolved to do in a lot more people.
This is not to say all of them are crazy, clearly many humans have managed to nonetheless adapt well enough.
general experience, they are less stable emotionally and often more sensitive. They may be more caring... about some issues or people and thus despise others that don't think like them. They are less tolerant
they perceive differently... I think trust is a root issue and maybe sense of security. they don't like power but are willing to use the power of the masses to take others down.
some of what they say makes sense, some does not.
I've seen multiple questions on here blaming Trump for all the things that happened on Biden's watch. Trump is now responsible for Republicans not agreeing to the corrupt border bill. I have to laugh at the fact that an ex-president has 100 times more clout than the sitting president. Yes, there certainly is a lot of mental illness at play.
I totally agree. These mentally ill people said that "Make America Great Again" was a racist slogan.

Whilst I do have sympathy for them, those dealt a bad hand in genetics and mental ability often grow up to be resentful towards those that were born better off, usually the same people they depend on. Mentally challenged children growing up to be increasing spiteful, abusive and destructive towards their siblings, parents, care takers and even themselves is very common. It's not an easy topic to acknowledge and discuss but most of us have witnessed this at some point, we don't need spiteful mutant theory to explain this, it's obvious. It's the reason why some people end up in padded rooms, fewer and fewer people though despite that statistics show mental health problems are on the rise.
Unfortunately a lack of natural selection combined with the left wing policy of absolute tolerance has normalised malevolency, giving spiteful mutants a valid voice in politics that should never have been tolerated, for everyone else's safety. These people are inevitably going to end up on the left because socialism is an ideology built upon envy of those who have more.
In the past in many societies it was common for parents to abandon or dispose of genetically deformed babies, it's often assumed this was done callously out of a desire to avoid a burden, whilst avoiding a burden definitely would have played a part in this, it wasn't done as a callous act, it was done mercifully to protect the family and society from the abuse and sabotage that would result from a deformed child growing into adulthood and becoming what we now call a spiteful mutant. Parents abonded deformed babies to protect the rest of their offspring, that's how they justified it.
I'm not saying that the genetically deformed and mentally ill shouldn't be cared for, but today we're stripping away the societal safety mechanisms that prevent malevolent minds from gaining power, which will be our undoing.
It's interesting how this poll has turned out, about three quarters of people agree, one quarter disagrees. I suspect this may be a case of "if you don't know who it is, then it's you".
Not a big follower of politics, but if they're anything like the stereotypical college type ones I've come across, then I really wouldn't be surprised.
I don't need a study to convince me that's true.
More likely to admit, or recognize that they have a mental illness, yes.
Sounds accurate to me
