It got politicized... on the right they are pretty damn sure it came from a very particular lab in Wuhan, that happened to be funded by Fouci. But the left's response to that, just like their response to a lot of things, is to start saying that's racist, that Trump is being racist for saying that... which resulted in the info being kept very hush hush.

You gotta remember the left controls all of the mainstream media, including Fox News, so once the left made up their mind that saying that is racist... even the average Republican started doubting it.

The fact is they were protecting Fouchi's lab involvement. Fouchi is the same guy who was telling everyone the world is going to end during the AIDS epidemic long before COVID. Another fact is the Left started using COVID as a way to hem Trump up... he said 14 days to stop the spread, but every state ran by anyone with Trump Derangement Syndrome... decided to keep the lockdowns to hurt Trump. But I digress.

It was sort of a lie, a lie by omittance... by the political class. Xi also used the "it's racist" routine to try and cover up where it came from. He was trying to blame Korea. lolz.

Fun fact, they're still making more viruses. They have a new COVID that kills the lab mice super fast. This one attacks the brain as well as all the same stuff the old one attacks. And guess where this research is being done? If you said China, you'd be right. Also funded by U. S. financial backers.

If you're looking for blame... look at the rich people from the U. S. that skirt the rules about researching this shit by doing it in China (they fund it). Then they get even richer by forcing you to take their vaccines. Real class acts aren't they... They definitely lied about its origins. And then the whole situation was mishandled. Early on when things were uncertain and it was wisest to be cautious, instead politicians were all about keeping the borders open and visiting your local chinatown because it would be bigoted not to.

Then later after it had all ready spread everywhere, they panicked and started enacting tyrannical controls on their citizens and pushing a rushed, untested mrna gene editing vaccine that will have God knows what long-term health effects on the people who took it.

And then despite plenty of evidence to the contrary, they lied about the effectiveness of the lockdowns and masks and the vaccine at treating or even containing the spread of the virus. They are also continuing to lie about the occurrence of side effects.

Those couple years should have been education for everybody, and if it wasn't, then you're brain dead.

A) Politicians are incompetent at crisis management. You either prepare for yourself and your loved ones or you're fucked.

B) Panicked and scared people will easily turn on anyone who gets between them and the promise of "safety".

C) The first priority of any of the elites - politicans, ceos, bankers, etc. - is how to use the latest happening to make more money and secure more power for themselves. All other considerations come second.

People claiming to know what its origins were were lying on both sides. Only one side would lead to racist attacks, though.

As to the "dangerous" vaccines, why do people like you ignore the dangers of the virus itself? Thousands of people a day were dying when the vaccines were introduced, then they weren't. Heart problems in young people were eight times as likely to occur from the virus than the vaccines. What are the long-term health effects on the people who caught the virus? All the evidence points to them being worse than the vaccines.

It's now a fact. Yeah, they lied about a lot. Does the government lie like crazy? Yep! Ever hear of Gulf of Tonkin and Vietnam? Or MK Ultra? Fauci lied about his involvement in the virus. Biden did nothing to find out it's origins or to hold China accountable. That is a lie by omission. The idea that a piece of cloth over your face will prevent transmission was proven to be false. Getting the vaccine will prevent contracting the virus was also false. Th fact that younger people had a much better immunity or a much smaller response to the virus was proven but the Biden administration sided with their donor the teachers union and the schools remained locked down. Certain businesses were allowed to stay open often the selection was arbitrary. Big box stores were allowed to stay open but many small businesses were forced to remain closed. A lot of them never reopened.

So yes, the government lied about covid. This is a big part of why the public had no confidence in what the government said anymore.
