Do you welcome a much higher voter turnout on election days?

During presidential elections here in the US voter turnout tends to be mid range around 50-60%. But imagine if that number was in the 80-90% range? Would you welcome that instead? Or do you like the voter turnout trend the way it has been?

Voter turn out up here is running around 50% plus or minus. I would welcome a better turnout even if I didn't like the results.
