I fucking hate economics and I think it's all bullshit, but man is it fun to build production lines and dealing with supply/demand.

I get a bit swarmed by the level of micro-management required in most of the ones I tried. I get stressed out a lot by them managing production and resources.
Actually if I had my way, M&B wouldn't even require food to feed our army! 😂 I get stressed out with that type of inventory management.
I hate it when there too much micro management. Have you heard of the Dominions series? A computer nerd like you has to like a game like that.
I haven't but looked it up and it's turn-based! I do have way, way more patience for management when the game is turn-based. It's mostly managing things in real-time that stresses me out.
There is so much micro management in that game xD. One of my favorites, but holy shit is it exhausting.
There's a ton of min maxing in it too. I know you like min maxing.
I do tend to like when there's a boatload of things to think about every turn in a turn-based strategy. I love the original X-COM: UFO Defense for example:

Over the new ones from Firaxis:
Since they simplified the turn-based system so much without the time units and fewer squad members. There just isn't nearly as much to think about each turn as the original.
I do love to optimize and optimize builds with a min-max mindset but my favorite games are ones that don't even tempt me to do it in the first place, like Fallout 1&2. Those ones were so fun to play with any build (even ridiculous ones like a kama sutra sex master with no combat skills). They were one of the few where I managed to do many playthroughs without seeking to min-max at all.
