Yes, about 45 years ago, I was in a record store that also sold tiny packs of incense (about 5 sticks in sealed cellophane) and I asked to check out a few of them. They were only 25c a pack. Then we started talking about records and what have you and Nick left the incense on the counter. I noticed that there was a chance I could slide it up my sleeve without him knowing so, I tried it, just to see if I could but, fully intended to give it back to him before I left. I walked out with it in my sleeve and figured, it was too late to return it, then so, I just got on my bike a rode away.
Another time, I was walking past a record distributor one night after hours and noticed the back door was slightly open! So, I went in to see if anybody was there trying to rob the place. I never saw anyone but saw a few records I would've liked to have and, since they not only had thousands of copies and would never miss what I was gonna take and, since they tend to throw away thousands by the case (200 to 300 per case), I didn't think they'd even care! So, I picked a few records that I wanted and left but I also closed their door all the way on the way out. I couldn't lock it but, at least it was shut tight. I've never been greedy when it comes to money so, even if they had a bunch of it laying around, I wouldn't have bothered with it.

Yeah. When I was younger 17/18 I had gone to the store to grab a couple things. I ran out of space but being a teen I didn't want to get a basket so I just put the candy bar I was getting loosely in my pocket so I could pull it out and pay for it. I forgot that it was in my pocket and paid for my things and left. Realized I hadn't paid for it a couple hours later but the store was closed. So I went back the next day and told them I had inadvertently stolen it and requested they charge me for it.
