Anyone else get tired of the "be the bigger person" bs when dealing with bullies? Want to share when taking action stopped the situation instead?

I was bullied all through school. NEVER did the bullying stop due to intervention from authorities. That often made it worse. Almost always it took me fighting back.

Same as an adult. I've had issues with people back in my hometown. I grew up in a rough area. Cops being called made matters worse while fighting it out like men solved the issue.

I think we need to bring back the old school way of "I will not start the fight, but I sure as hell will finish it" without any legal repercussions to the victim.

Sadly, some people cannot take an "L" and will come back with a weapon, but even then, just let the victim have a weapon as well to make it fair.

I had an adult bully back when I worked retail. I was all of 98 lbs and she was probably 250 and mean like a pitbull. She was talking shit one day and I threw a box of diapers in her cart and told her to quit crying like a big baby. We squared up and she told me she was going to hurt me. Said you know where I live bitch. Then she got fired because someone witnessed her threatening me and I never saw her again. But yeah sometimes you just gotta refuse to be intimidated by them and they back down.

That was the only way to stop bullies growing up. Punch them in the face and throat a few times and it is very effective at stopping them
