So men are to blame for not going to see female-centric movies, and the women who don't go to see them aren't responsible for their failures because? Are they only showing them in theaters that prohibit women from buying tickets?

When movies DON'T have female leads, writers, directors, etc., women can hardly be expected to go see them, because that's discrimination. But when men don't go see movies that don't have any of THEM involved, that's a failing on men's part because?

In 1140, the Holy Roman Emperor laid siege to the city of Weinsburg as part of a succession war. When the city surrendered, he intended to imprison all the men, but announced that the women would be free to leave, with whatever they could carry on their backs. Said women abandoned their accumulated wealth and goods and carried their husbands out instead. I- and most rational people- would call this praiseworthy, and commend them for both their loyalty and their cunning. Disney would no doubt be horrified by the story, since it implies that women have moral agency.

while modern films do tend to be over sensitive in not upsetting people and try to shove various ethnic, gender, etc stuff into movies that make the movie a bit stupid as it ignores historical facts. Also some movies over play the entire woke thing, most are okay. But a movie magazine catering for a political side because they are upset, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that is just so American, so funny.

Honestly, as a woman, I’m just gonna be honest I feel like Disney maybe is kinda just trying to pinpoint the problem here but in my opinion, it’s just wrong because honestly I didn’t even know they were coming out with a new Star Wars or a marvel movie.
They clearly just didn’t promote enough. I feel like that’s really the issue..

Make movies about terrible characters no one likes. Proceed to write the shittiest capeshit you can imagine. Start pissing on the old movies and characters people loved, write it so the original heroes never really did anything and are actually just dreadful bastards and deadbeats. Pump out about 2 dozen of these dogshit projects. Marvel at the fact no cares about your new shit and bitch about the fans for not linking your work.

In the olden days, writers who's works were criticized would think about the criticism, take it to heart and try to improve their craft. These days they'll just bitch about how everyone who doesn't like their stories is a racist.

There have been so many superhero movies over the last decade or two, it's unreal. I'm not even sure I want to see the new Deadpool, and I'm pretty sure that's not "woke". I did see Barbie, though, because it was different.

Well when they hire people to make movies about existing characters that haven't even looked at the previous content and don't care to adhere to it. You typically piss off the fan base you're trying to capitalize on to go to your movie.
