How is open border in a country different from an open door at your home?

It's a manufactured issue. In the 1990 you needed a quarter to go back and forth. Usa kids under 21 got pissed drunk and went back home. Mexican workers got seasonal work and took it back home. Not that big of a deal that a quarter couldn't solve.

Now we want to build a wall. The bigger and higher that wall the cartels see bigger and bigger buissnes that used to be a quarter. It's a massive billboard to funnel cartels. Once over they can't go back like in the 90s. Republicans love this and love slave labor. Dozen workers working a single person income inside a single person motel with a dozen illegals begging for a buck in slave labor.

If we actually gave a damn we'd target employers giving a cent to illegal immigrants for slave labor and arrest those people. Without anyone risking getting arrested all illegal immigrants will have to go anywhere else more then likely home on there own. But we love slave labor so we don't.

One way or another it has to be fixed. The bipartisan border bill came the closest to a solution than anything else in the last decades. That's why it was supported by the border patrol union. The House Republicans screwed it up, to "help" Trump in the next elections. With that sort of people running and ruining large parts of the GOP the only solution is to vote blue everywhere.

I thought it was a problem because of how much noise republicans were making about it. But then they killed their own border bill because trump whined about having nothing else to campaign on. So, republicans can't actually believe it's that serious.

Imagine this was a game and you are controlling the nation of USA. What does population represent in game terms? Its a resource right? Open borders gives you a steady supply of free resources from this point of view.

So yeah, I do think it is stupid to prevent people from entering YOUR country. What you are asking me is if I would object to money entering into my back account quite frankly. I would be insane to reject it.
