it´s not protected immigrants get pretty easily in the social welfare system while they are often neither made to get a job or in some cases they have to get a language certificate first which isn´t easy to get since the language is hard learn for a foreigner. So therefore they have a long time of not being able to work. The country I talk about is Germany.
We have three genders in language: male, female, neutral with each having their own article while there are differences whether a word is the subject or the object in the sentence.
The main issue is that the immigration system is messed up since people that are well integrated have a higher risk of being deported back to their country than people that are criminals since the later group is no where to be found when the police to deport them.
Therefore there are many conflicts over immigration and both political sides have different solutions for the problem where I would say that neither of them should be used in their extreme form.

First, it's not even among the top 10 issues of concern in reality in America. In the fever dream of MAGA America, it's the Alamo for fragile, manipulated Caucasians.

As far as how it's going, MAGA America doesn't even believe Homeland security OWN DATA that says 70% of "illegal" immigrants are visa overstays that arrive via airline.

Similarly, MAGA America supports deportation as a solution, NOT fining & punishing the employers of this cheap labor by margins of 70% to 30% knowing full well that punishing employers will stop the pull factor immediately.

In short, MAGA irreality is what's going on. Is there a problem at the southern border? Yes. Only a fool would deny it. Was the GOP bill that Trump demanded be killed the BEST solution proposed since Reagan's amnesty? Absolutely!

The cravenness and hypocrisy is a badge of honor among the poorly educated.

What are bigger issues? Foreign aid being out of control is certainly one, as stated before political corruption is big, healthcare is always an issue, what are the magic big ticket items in your "enlightened" view?

I don't want bodies there but in the words of Napoleon at 13 vendémiaire the crowd needed "a whiff of grapeshot". There's literally no consequences for illegally entering the most powerful nation in the world, in fact it's incentivized by places like Massachusetts with insane sanctuary laws. The military and border patrol should perfect the border with force and watch how fast it would end.

1) Fine employers who hire them HEAVILY so they won't hire them
2) Go after the visa overstays which make up 70% of "illegal" immigrants and arrive via air
3) Deport 10-13 million people and watch the economy collapse!

The border is non existent. That is bad enough but the current administration is offering thousands of dollars in benefits to any freeloader that walks across the border. They are also flying thousand of freeloader at taxpayer expense to secret locations all over the coyntry.
