If anything doesn't work out I have to look to myself and change what I do. I can't say it is racism, sexism, genderism or anything else.
It's an incomparable advantage I have. Would you agree or disagree?

The idiocy of this illusionary White Male Privilege is beyond ridiculous. There is white male poverty the likes of which no inner city kid can even comprehend. Rural communities full of poor white trash with zero social services, school busses, colleges nearby, or the plethora of aid any large city has for wayward youth.
I sure wish white male privilege had linked me to some magic benefits package but it didn’t. I worked my tail off going from single mom & good stamps to a solid six-figure income. It took tremendous amounts of hard work and 60hr weeks were more the norm than not. It sure as heck wasn’t privilege.
Funny how this imaginary privilege results in white males being discriminated against in hiring and university admissions.
Despite being considered a minority, I dont really think about privilege. So if you want to blame someone and rightfully so, go ahead. If I dont get a job, my thought has never been “so and so got it because they’re a white male/female”. The only time i’ve probably had race-related thoughts is just when someone outside of my race says their parent wouldn't accept them dating my race. Other than that, i dont think about race nor privilege
That was the whole point! Thank you.
There are at least political narratives that tells people they are disadvantaged because of XYZ. A school here had boys apologizing for male privilege. The (female) principle was sacked once it was in the headlines of course.
It is a dangerous narrative because the inverse is disadvantage and inability and that should not be incubated in children but it seems to be happening in some of our schools.
Yea for the people who have deep rooted issues/hate, an apology will never satisfy them, so its a waste for people to apologize. You can't exactly apologize for what an ancestor did to someone elses ancestor. Im sure they’re battling that out in the afterlife. All you can do is set a better example and not follow in their footsteps. People expect/ask for more than what can be given. Im not surprised its happening in your schools over there because division has always been taught here in the states
That summarizes it well. Yes Australia is indeed copying the US unfortunately in this regard. There is a high cost if people aren't all they could be. Learning is hard if a student is unhappy. If I need to do training I deliberately put myself into a happy mood and build interest in the topic -even if I have to fake it :). Learning is easier then and I am lazy.
I genuinely feel sorry and concerned for children that aren't happy and experience mom and dad fighting all the time. I think they aren't going to learn as well. Negative messages in schools should be avoided in my book.

White male privelege is not being able to blame systemic challenges. There ample other factors.
I would agree that ANY "white privilege" DOESN'T EXIST!!
white male privilege doesn't exist
Try being white in China and ask me then.
