Have anyone been to court? I was for the first time in my life it's really scary and i got sentenced for a crime i didn't commit i came home to an old childhood friend after him adding me on facebook and asked me to come when i came he was aggressive and in his sofa laid a lot of meds and i found out he just robbed an ambulance while they tended to a guy he snuk in and took all their things so as the good friend i am i took all the stuff he had and was going to throw them in the dumpster but before i could do that cops came because they knew about the ambulance and i got caught with a ton of heavy drugs and got a charge i tried explaining that in court i said i never taken drugs in my life and my record is clean i never been in trouble with police but i still ended up getting convicted 3 days ago i'm sad because i tried doing a good deed and ended up being charged with having a lot of drugs i don't know what the charge would be in USA but it's the severest one

One thing do not let them play you into a guilty plea if you are innocent. All the cops want is to try to convince you that by pleading guilty is your best deal. They love playing the good cop bad cop, easier for them less work for them.

Yeah i know lawyers always say never talk to a cop without them present but it was the lawyer that fucked me up i was being honest 100% and did nothing wrong and he should've gotten me clear of the charges i had to pay him 3800 $ and he didn't do shit to help me. The Swedish court system if fucked up if you can get charged for something you didn't do by being a good person trying to help a friend out, i know the USA and most countries law systems aren't fair

Were you scared the first time? Did they treat you fair or did you get charged for something you didn't do? In my trail it was open to the public i never knew about any of this law crap and a group of 2 graders was allowed to come and watch i was pissed like why would 2 graders need to learn about court proceedings? I felt so ashamed and i didn't even do anything illegal i tried to help my friend from not overdosing on some shit.
