Can you give me your own personal definition of the word "woke"?

It always seemed to take on a similarity to me with the notion of class consciousness in Marxism, except instead of seeing the social conflict as ultimately between proletariat and bourgeoise under capitalism, it sees it as rooted in identity like race, sex, gender, sexual orientation, obesity, etc, under "patriarchy".

Yet it seems quite similar to me and possibly even inspired by Marxism, with the notion of "wokeness" being to develop a consciousness similar to class consciousness under Marxism as the driving force for the proletariat revolution to overthrow capitalism, except instead with any group of people whose identity is to be considered lacking privilege (people of color, women, trans, obese people, disabled, etc) developing "wokeness" as the driving force for their revolution to overthrow the patriarchy with intersectional feminists as their vanguards.

Above all else, I think it tends to veer towards being anti-white and anti-masculine.

It also seems to veer towards an anti-capitalist direction although as a subset of the umbrella notion of "patriarchy". To overthrow the patriarchy can often include overthrowing capitalism as a part of it.

Also overthrowing marriage although for a superset of the original anti-marriage reasons under Marx and Engels in favor of communal raising of children. As quoted from BLM's original mission statement:

At least this is my impression of it all. I'm not sure if it's right but it really seems to take on a type of superset of Marxist ideology.

Being aware and avoidant of the traps and enslavement of a repetitive system that has a majority of people brainwashed to such system, it takes a different way of thinking and a leading mentality to break out of that system and thats only possible when you wake up from their programming.

I think the best way to describe it is to go through the variations of the words and how they differ:

Wake up - you were sleeping and now you are up
Awaken - the act of ending sleep
Awake - conscious
Awoken - past tense of awaken
Woke - you stopped sleeping but now have gone back to sleep
