Disorderly march, try to shut down cities and governments, cause mayhem, riot, and fight to stop any such changes.

Changes proposed like sending illegal immigrant/migrants back home risking all the same issues around separation of parents/children, breaking up families, etc.. Emotionally triggering issues. Would they try to block officials from duties, blocking traffic... shutting down, fighting, rioting. This just one example... lets not forget about climate change agenda, negotiations with Putin, abortion rights, etc..

To what degree would they rebel?

I'm not arguing the policy positions. I'm asking how you expect they will tolerate the change.

They'll be reasonable and oppose legally, mostly

Possible all out civil war, shooting, armed takeovers like Portland

This is because most of the far left is a false flag by right wing rage-makers to make right wingers mad so it can't do anything in the physical world where it risks its own person. J6 was a perfect example of right wingers being convinced the far left would show up to fight them, but that didn't happen at all so they had to take their anger out on congress, instead.

your reality does not align with mine at all. I had marches through my prior city, my current city. Portland was under lockdown. what you say doesn't make sense to reality... in some areas. I've seen the "right" speakers shut down on campuses, the DEI agenda in corporate American and education on their own web sites..

You think marches are a form of extremism? I'm not claiming the left is docile. I'm saying they only really show up for true injustice which is limited by what is true and thus can be no more extreme than the situation. Unlike the right who are fueled by fantasies of grievances and hypothetical outrage. Portland was "under lockdown" (it wasn't actually) because police murdered a black man for no reason. That's true injustice. Meanwhile right wingers tried to start a civil war in J6 because of a lie about an election being stolen that they all knew was false.
