Even if there is a hot civil war in the US if Trump is elected in November for a second term, I believe MAGA would win this hypothetical civil war because majority of those who identify with MAGA are men and majority of leftists who oppose MAGA are women and if men dominating in women’s sports is any indication…

If they did try that they would only succeed in further trashing the blue cities and get stomped hard everywhere else. Just look at the types of people who would be on each side:

• On the woke side you would have ANTIFA who have been allowed to riot by incompetent Democrat officials and have never been in a real fight against a determined enemy who wasn't ordered to pull their punches. You may also have some thugs who hold the gun sideways and can't shoot for shit and feminists who are delusional enough to think they can fight men. Many of these people are students, work in tech, medical, HR, or other white-collar jobs.
• On the MAGA side you will have a lot of rural white people, most of own have an extensive history of gun ownership and use, enjoy hunting, many of whom are former military, and a lot of them work physically demanding jobs. These people also grow all the food and maintain all of the infrastructure.

Which side would you bet on? The truth is their rebellion would start by taking over the cities where they would trash everything, then the truckers (nearly all of whom are MAGA) would stop delivering food and other supplies into the cities. As the food ran out, the leftists would then turn on each other or they would make an attempt to invade the countryside to take farms but then they would have to deal with the "there's a rifle behind every blade of grass" problem that discouraged Japan from invading the US after Pearl Harbor. This isn't even getting into the fact that most police, especially outside the city, are conservatives and Erik Prince (Blackwater owner) has a private army he could call upon to aid the MAGA side.

TLDR: It's a bunch of soyboys, enbys, and thugs with no supplies versus the armed rednecks who grow all the food, own most of the guns, and may have mercenary backup.

Just like last time Trump won the election, the democrats had to make appointments with therapists and whimper to them about their party losing.

They were crying in public and hugging each other.

Johnson himself, a Southerner from Texas, said "I've lost the South for a generation" or something like that after signing the 1964 Civil Rights Act. So, what subsequently happened was that the 1968 Nixon campaign used "The Southern Strategy" using code words and such to get the racists down South to jump ship from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party. (After all, since Lincoln was a Republican - THAT'S back when being a Republican was being liberal - and he won the Civil War, so the South always voted for Democrats for the next 100 years.) This is why the South is now a collection of "Red States" and why the Republican Party is the party for racists.

The other great change in that time occurred in 1981 during the PATCO strike. PATCO was the union for air traffic controllers. They had endorsed Reagan in 1980. However, they went on strike around August 1981 and Reagan ordered them back to work or he'd fire anyone who didn't go back to work. Reagan did the right thing, but this was the end of the power of unions which is only now just beginning to come back. Anyway, since 1981, American culture has benefited businesses and not people.
