It depends.
It always depends on what you do with the information you’re given.
The ill informed if left to their own ideas could take a long time to come to agreement. The scenario instantly changes if they’re gullible or easily believe the manipulation one offers them.
If they easily agree to a manipulation scheme thrown their way and move on that they have some advantage and head start
meanwhile the small group already being outnumbered would have to catch up and work twice as hard to try and disassemble any “believer” of the brainwashing. They would have to come to agreement, have good work ethics, and be fair and honest to the group at large being lied to.
The ill informed are sheep or their own minded asteroids shooting about which could be chaos or progressive regression/ destruction, while the small informed group are more independent assertive and like wolves that have to work together. Wolves or lions. Either other. Maybe even meerkats since their small number makes them a bit inferior.
Or just a threatened and small lion pride.
ANYWAYS. It also depends. That information has to be concrete truth even if not the most positive it has to be 100% and close to accurate so the small group can look for ways to combat it or assess the situation.
If the information is corrupted or just general things but both groups are desensitized then they’re at the hands of natural circumstance or pushed agenda by persuasive drivers.
Even if they get the info as accurate all across the board. It won’t matter if they’re all truly indifferent and never agree with anyone in either groups or the solid unified group.
Not let’s say the info IS accurate and the small group agrees! It’s a miracle and they work together to combat issues threats and large scale problems.
They will truly outdo the large group whether in chaotic thought and hence disagreement, are driven by a corrupt informer or other, or if they’re aware but remain idle. Even if manipulated to work together with resources is another set of agreements and factors that will slow down their progress in general/ overall and will cause major loss against threats to their lives/ safety/ welfare, and solutions to large scale problems.
So the information itself can’t necessarily be the defining factor, but it’s half the battle for the small group and if they come to agree quickly and efficiently I think they could persuade and unify/ merge with the lost large group or defeat them in any sense, or simply disable their plans to wreak destruction/ havoc/ regression/ disunity.
Like I said- it’s what they do with the info and how fast ultimately. I think the small group has the advantage to make more meaningful projects and products and outcomes. They can make more paths for themselves if they agree, are tactful, and waste nothing and no opportunity including the chance to have/ receive accurate information.
If the large group agrees faster than the small group either within themselves or a driver or even moves their chaos in on the small group who is failing to agree and make actual progress
it’s very possible for the small group to be defeated, or take a longer time to get out from that situation and change the set of circumstances and the deck of cards.
It would be very bad odds not in their favor. So they have to make use of time, resource, and really each other and network. If the small group in summary is a community? A unit? They’re going to win.
Theyd be the equivalent of the berets or some special force while the large group would be using nerf tools and tactics from a cereal box while standing around like sitting ducks.
Or for a less aggressive picture
it’d be like a small family business with a great thing going and they will eventually industrialize or grow at a rapid rate into a major company because of their productivity meanwhile the large group is just perhaps some farmers market on some back road.
I hope this somewhat makes sense.
I suppose you’re right on that note. A person should have an informed being as a state of mind, and such. Instead of being “hand fed” information because being handed information can’t always be trusted; can be biased, and have some wrong agenda in delivering it.
Children and students are handed information
But adults should be able to find information on their own and not be handed from someone or anyone “superior” or “above” them.
It’s sad because there should just be some honesty and integrity. Where has that gone?
Word of mouth isn’t always reliable, written and typed information can be changed, and even some addresses or new reports and be twisted. People may not always mean what they say in general, and statistical data can’t always be relied on if it’s only the most we can understand for the current time, and it’s to change as time progresses.
Those who share accurate data would have to be trustworthy and transparent about that as well.
It’s more and more difficult for anyone to be informed unless they’re somehow invested in everything of every aspect in society and actively seeing the progress and changes being made so they know if something isn’t accurate.
That’s the only way for anyone to know what has happened what’s happening and if anyone is lying about a subject.
So if there is no truth, reality is modernizing, and information is not clearly defined and provided, the only knowledge a person can have is their best judgement and any council or mentor they can trust they would have or could confide in.
Maybe a group of friends, someone slightly older or more knowledgeable.
Only those with first hand knowledge of topics that can have common sense in those things are capable of informing others but they should be transparent, otherwise those who don’t have the knowledge of those subjects and lack thus the common sense will have a harder time of making good judgement calls and being able to maneuver intuitively.
It seems in this world the only way to keep someone from being manipulated is to just be cynical, their own scientist and testing things, observant, and somewhat analytical.
They have to have good judgement so each individual or entity they engage with will not have the upper hand or take advantage of them.
It seems information being provided without bias or fallacy really was only a thing of the past when people held more religious or moral views.
It seems now along with any potential bias that the information will have some fallacy
And it’s up to the reader or listener. The observer hopefully above all, to filter it and weigh that info.
And to be honest I have to review my post and the question.
Which group as more power?
Isn’t it what they do? With what they have? Isn’t this always the case?
Is power in the knowledge or the number of voices saying the same thing?
The knowledge or the number of people agreeing?
I think it’s efficient and unity- that agreeableness of any group who has the info. They clearly have the power.
The small informed group. Because they have information and knowledge and can utilize that to their advantage, or to get stuff done for the greater good. Knowledge is power. And money = power. They don't always go together, but as Homer Simpson said, "First you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the women". lolol. Which was, of course, a nod to Al Pacino's "Scarface".
And we won't talk about mob rules or cancel culture of conspiracy theorists or mob hysteria. These do factor in, but A wins.
over 98% of americans vote for either the democrat or republican for president and have so over the past 4 presidential elections. What does that tell you?
The US is the ONLY country with a republican/parliamentary form of government with only two parties in the national legislative branch. What does that tell you?
We live in a nation of sheep who are chained to the failed two-party system. Large group of ignorant voters.
Is this reliable? Is it guaranteed? I suppose it’s better chances of avoiding my and lacking movement agendas that are selfish or not for everyone at large. A lot of people aren’t so saintly though.
Do you think any one that would run and is not from the two main groups, would be a better chance for the country?
the FACT is facebook and twitter have much power, decided what to hide and what to promote... and as we see their choices the Less Informed Small Group has more power. unfortunately.
sinilarly judges have power and if used to target political opponents, also the Less Informed Small Group has more power.
Yes, this party adherence is pathetic.
This b. s. will continue until the two-party system gets broken up, which it may never.
My husband and I removed any party affiliation and are Independents.
It's such a shame other candidates don't have the money, support, media air time, etc etc.

Informed small group, the large uninformed group has never shown to take action.
Do you speak with specifics in mind? Or is this in general? I felt the question has some relevant parties tied to this or demographics but I viewed it from a general perspective and while you’re right uninformed usually lack taking action for even they lacked taking action to seek or become informed for themselves and are just somewhat passive or seek other pursuits or lifestyles, it’s still true and not far fetched to say uninformed have blindly followed agendas and harsh ideals or views.
I mean yeah it’s not action or being intentional having vision, goals or foresight, but submission is still something that provides movement and that mass movement could potentially thwart the goals of the small group and at some point delay their own progress and efforts.
@Rosexøxø You can pick anything political that is not in the newa. By the time the uninformed masses know its to late. And even then I gave up on them after the lockdown era. I perceived that as purely evil and something to overthrow the government for. They did nothing. So the small group of actually good people who are informed and willing to do something may cause change some day if they end up in power. But the masses won't listen because they are insanely brainwashed and unwilling to think for themselves.
A large group can be far more intimidating, but a small group that knows what they are doing can still ruffle a few feathers.
i'm not a violent person, but i will do anything to defend another. it doesn't really matter who they are. if you recall the incredible hulk. it's that type of hero with no carnage and wreckage
Have you seen the woke people? They are dumber than a crackhead in a trailer park and yet they manage to lie, accuse and defame just about anyone they don't like into legal consequences.
The more intelligent a person gets the more isolated that person gets I don't think intelligent people will be in a large group
one of them thinks they have power... lol
informed small group. Why else is our media nothing but propagandists for uniparty?
An informed small group can manipulate mass amounts of people with psychological tactics used by dictators and so on.
Depends on what the issue is but I think an informed small group generally speaking has some more power.
Technically whoever controls the money supply.
It may take time but the truth floats.
