Yes. Absolutely. Anything ultra-nationalist can easily become fascist. Fascism, by definition, requires a dictatorship and forceful suppression of dissenters and opposition, as well as a all-powerful centralized power structure.


Pol Pot slaughtered his own people and (both racially & nationally) and was part of a vile fascist movement. Mao killed millions of his own Chinese but also had some racial targets of people within China so it’s kind of splitting hairs at some point. So too we’re the actions of Mussolini & his government who, despite being in bed with Adolf Hitler & the Nazis, never fully absorbed their racial ideology. The Soviet Union was a completely totalitarian regime and while it lacked the dictator an argument can be made it was fascist.


Many people think the only fascism in history was the National Socialists and that would be a false conclusion.

Generally I think fascism has taken on such negative connotations that most people who adopt the basic socioeconomic tenants minus the racism identify as corporatists, still coming from a place of critique of both Marxism and capitalism as with the fascists, and focusing on class cooperation and unity rather than class conflict, and derived from the same Greco-Roman influences.

as matter of fact not all fascists believe in biological racism but its core of fascism

... I mean theoretically? Problem is that as a movement fascism always goes for the low hanging fruits to boost their popularity and power and that is usually just to lean into racism to unify and grow their own group. As they say, fascism is politics for lazy people.

Not really. Racism is pretty much the only way to motivate "rank and file" people to be fascist. There are others in theory but they tend to either yield to racism over time because it's more effective or fall apart entirely.

No, there aren't. Racism is one of the feelings that makes fascist rule attractive.

Generally no, racism is not a core tenant of fascism but it does not often come without it
