Why did Biden apologize to the illegal who murdered Laken Riley for calling him an "illegal" but not to Laken's family for calling her the wrong name?

During his State of Confusion speech Biden called the animal that barbarically murdered the American college student Laken Riley an "illegal." And he called Laken Riley, "Lincoln" Riley as if he didn't even have any idea who she is much less take responsibility for her murder with his open border that is murdering hundreds of thousands of American citizens every year with poisoned drugs and crime.

So now he went on MSNBC AND ***APOLOGIZED TO THE BARBARIAN*** for calling him an illegal! Are you kidding? NOT A WORD ABOUT LAKEN RILEY and the disgusting way he ignored her, never even called her family to pay respects, and then had the disrespect to call her the wrong name SEVERAL TIMES while her family was there in the audience watching with hundreds of people present and apologize to the animal who murdered her?

What are you talking about? This was an absolute masterstroke in damage control, because yesterday, absolutely every single conservative with a soapbox talked about nothing else from the speech except for Laken Riley, and the clearly staged interview despite Joe gifting them over an hour of easily debunked lies and bullshit. Sure, drawing attention to this doesn't look good, but getting everyone laser-focused on a kneejerk outrage issue that isn't going to sway voters is a far preferable outcome from the Biden camp's perspective, especially with the proposed tax hikes that could've also made headline news. Say what you want about the Democrats (I certainly hate them), but they are far better at playing the narrative spin game than the Republicans have ever been.
