I only want to talk about the wait in Mexico policy. It wouldn’t cost a dime. You pick up a pen and sign an executive order. Why won’t Biden do that? I don’t want to talk about the fake bill that extorts money for Ukraine. This is about just picking up a pen and signing an executive order.
If Biden didn’t need bipartisan support to screw up the border, why does he now need bipartisan support to fix his own mistake?
The illegal immigrants are being used primarily to increase the amount of representatives in Congress for the democrats. The number of reps is determined by the census, and the census just counts living people present in a given area - it makes no distinction between citizens and illegal aliens. So by packing democrat states with illegal immigrants, they will artificially increase the number of democrat representatives, and thus have greater voting power.
Second, these same states will inevitably pass laws that allow the illegals to vote in federal elections (vote-by-mail is already set up for rampant abuse of the system), which will increase the number of Democrat votes, and ensure that it's nearly impossible for Republicans to win in those states.
This is 100% about the left holding on to power that they won't be able to keep any other way, because the actual citizens of the country will not keep putting them back in power. Virtually everyone in the country is MUCH worse off today than they were 4 years ago, COVID difficulties excepted. And even COVID traces back to the left, as it's now widely acknowledged that COVID came from a lab leak - the Wuhan lab that was being funded by Fauci's grants, because he wanted that done and that research was banned in the US.
Biden has given us WAR (the better to line the pockets of his supporters via war contracts), crazy inflation, mass illegal immigration, and a host of other problems, and they were all done INTENTIONALLY, because those things benefit the elite at the expense of the middle class. The middle class that they want to eradicate, by the way.

Biden said during his state of Ukraine speech, that he wants to fix the border, but the Republicans won't sign the Ukrainian Extortion Bill. People believe this crap. They think that Biden really wants to secure the border. That's why I asked this question. If he cares about America, then pick up his pen and put things back the way they were when Trump was running the show. He won't. He's gone do far as to say that he wishes he had the "executive power" to do that! What the fuck? He thinks we're all stupid, and most of us are. But he had the power to break it, and he has the power to fix it.

I don't like them, but it's Congress who passes the laws that control legal immigration and give the funds to control illegal immigration. My point was the R's did nothing to resolve much of either when they had full control, and the Dem's don't know what the fuck they're doing, so nothing is getting done. The only way to proceed from here is probably to shut it down completely, and that's going to require an action from Congress to make it stick under current law, as far as I understand. What doesn't make sense is why Mike Johnson is running about insisting that an executive order can do that, instead of getting an emergency billed passed that will do that?
