honestly this is just the tip of the iceberg in the UK right now. like making unwarranted dick picks illegal is sort of fine, i guess. but i personally would probably not use the internet in the UK anymore. cause a lot of shit you say online can land you in prison there. feels pretty damn orwellian.

the continental eu has just become a giant shit show. our german bundeskanzler makes fun of Putin when he got the highest voter count ever with 80something percent and calls their vote "Undemocratic". meanwhile he governs germany with parties that were votd for by less than 20% of people.

Yes completly. It even goes further and completly in the right direction. In makes it harder for children to access porn, and other harmful content. It makes it easier to remove illegal content online and improves abilities of law enforcement to tackle illegal content and remove it. It doesn't actually make something illegal that wasn't ilegal before. It just includes the internet as a form of public afaik.
Because technically dickpics are a form of public exposure and should be handled as such.
