In London, Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley warned that officials will not only be cracking down on British citizens for commentary on the riots in the U. K., but on American citizens as well. "We will throw the full force of the law at people. And whether you’re in this country committing crimes on the streets or committing crimes from further afield online, we will come after you."
Apparently, he doesn't realize that Gen. Cornwallis surrendered at Yorktown and the US now makes its own laws. This guy

is a supremely arrogant idiot and the people of the UK should be roundly condemning him for his remarks but. . . I doubt that will happen, because Brits are probably afraid that they will be locked away if they speak out. . . and that's one of the differences between the UK and the USA.
Imagine the reaction is the NYC Police Commissioner threatened to extradite UK citizens who had posted online comments that the Commissioner deemed to be offensive! Would anyone from the UK like to respond and explain this? Am I missing something here? Or is he going to come to Florida to extradite me for criticizing him?
