Anonymous(18-24)10 moDeportation to the individual’s homeland, yes to some degree though the idea of pushing undocumented immigrants to Guantanamo Bay just for crossing the border for a better life should not be entertained by the federal government since this is like the Japanese Internment Camps. 120k Japanese (20k of which were citizens) were kept in these camps forced out of their homes using the ‘Aliens and Enemies Act’ that Trump is flaunting about which will be to move 30k Mexicans which is inhumane and sets a terrible example for a land of freedoms & equal rights & standards above uncivilized countries.
Wanting to end birthright citizenship just allows future administrations to limit the American Public’s rights defined in The Constitution, Constitutional Amendments, and Laws passed by the legislature. Ending birthright citizenship means being “American” can just be redefined / changed against certain individuals the government disagrees with. After Trump isn’t in office, I’m sure if a Democrat is elected a lot of people would be shaking in their boots from this sort of notion Trump is trying to write on the books. Birthright Citizenship must stand to prevent Democrats, Republicans, Independents from doing the same on legal citizens.00 Reply

10 mo100% YES. Deport millions and millions of them.
My take on immigration is very clear.
Secure the border so they cannot get in.
Have a very MODEST, SET number of how many immigrants we'll accept in ONE year. Maybe 10,000 total. Maybe 50,000 and NO MORE.
ALL must be fully vetted and their attitudes gauged. We only want those who want to be Americans and love the USA and want to join in on the American dream and assimilate to the USA.
Anyone with any hint of contempt for the USA, anyone who just wants to start an outpost for the land they came from and isolate themselves from the culture and live like they are still (wherever). NO ENTRY.
Anyone with the slightest hint of law breaking or terror ties or anti USA vibe. NO ENTRY.
Moving here is a PRIVELEGE. It is not a right.
We decide who comes and the numbers need to be modest.

What should we do with citizens who don't pass those tests?

Imagine you've been waiting in this line for hours. Then someone decides to cut to the front of the line in front of you. You would rip their head off. But since most people are stupid, they never consider the fact that their law-abiding immigrants that have been waiting in that line for ages. But they never get chosen to come to America, because the illegals somehow take precedence. That's all going to change under President Trump. People who've been waiting in line will now take precedence. And that's the way it should be.

Anonymous(30-35)10 moyes. if you're illegal, you cannot be here. it is the law. either go home or go through the legal process. no other option. i can't just go waltz into another country illegally. it's not allowed. so it shouldn't be allowed here! no hard feelings... just common sense and safety.

10 moIt really depends. I find it morally wrong to deport people who are doing nothing to harm anyone, who are just chilling here, but haven't become a true citizen, so thus our government brands them illegal. I believe it fully depends on the personal situation, so i am definitely against mass deportations. For example there could be people fleeing their country for many different reasons, and have to come to America to stay safe and seek refuge. I've heard it can take a long time to fully become a citizen, so would you deem it fair or morally correct we deport these types of people?
Ofc there are other scenarios too which i would support deportation. For example f you commit a crime or offense as an illegal immigrant, i believe you should be deported. If you can't act right in this new country, then you are not welcome here in my opinion.

10 moCriminals sure. People who just want a better life. No... They're the people who are working the jobs others don't want to do.
Also ICE is harassing and detaining U. S citizens and Native Americans i. e they're profiling people based on the colour of their skin...
10 Reply Of course. If you break the law to enter the country illegal, then you should be deported. If you pose some sort of national security risk like being a spy for a foreign nation, then you should be deported after criminal proceedings. There are are plenty of instances when deportation is the correct action.

Anonymous(18-24)10 moI don't, unless they've committed some violent crime. These are human beings we're talking about, not animals. They should be treated with respect and dignity. Refugees and asylees leave their home countries because they don't wanna see their children starving or shot to death. Where is our humanity? Plus America is a nation of immigrants. How is it in any way fair for us to oppose other refugees/immigrants seeking the opportunity to raise their children in a safer place than before?
30 Reply3.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I do if they commit violent crimes otherwise I see no point.
It makes zero difference to me if they aren't, as 1st I wouldn't even be able to tell and 2nd it does not effect me.

Of dreamers? No
Of established, exemplary members of community with citizen family members, no crimes who get sent to the back of the line, pay back taxes and some fines & community service? I don't know.

Anonymous(18-24)10 moIn most cases it's a total waste of money and other resources. I do not support deportation just for being here illegally. For serious crimes, I would support deportation or being extradited.

10 moYep people don't seem to understand illegal immigration yet no one against deportation would allow someone to just walk into their home without permission, it's the same thing, only that's its a whole country and a lot more people.
07 Reply- 10 mo
It’s not the same thing at all. If someone is in you house that directly affects you if you live in Cali and an illegal immigrant lives in New York you are not affected in any way whatsoever
- 10 mo
It will effect other people tho, just cause it's not effecting me personality doesn't mean I'm not aware other people are being effected, if they decide to commit crimes then you don't have to be effected for it to be bad for the country
- 10 mo
Simply being here illegally doesn’t affect anyone and as for an illegal immigrant committing a crime, legal citizens also commit crimes so whether they are legal or not is irrelevant at the time of a crime because them being illegal had no affect on why they committed the crime
- 10 mo
Yea but legal criminals can be traced that's the difference, if I were illegal and can run into your house your whole family, cut myself accidentally walking out your house, leave blood on the handle hair on the floor, my face on camera and the government will still have no clue who I am or where to find me, if you can't understand the difference then you slow
- 10 mo
Well for starters if someone’s face is on the news then people will recognize them and second legal citizens can also commit crimes and not be traced. Just like the scenario you gave if that person was a legal citizen but wore a mask and gloves and didn’t leave any evidence behind there would be no way to “trace” them either and third you are basing your views off of hypotheticals not reality.
- 10 mo
Now imagine that with thousands of different scenarios, you are imagining one, now imagine no faces, no blood, no hairs, it's only 10x harder, I saw a video of a woman that almost got raped by an illegal and if police weren't there at the right time and place, they wouldn't have stopped it, I imagine this with many other scenarios where such lick wouldn't be a part of it.
- 10 mo
You aren't speaking realities either, you think of a perfect world and that doesn't exist, illegal immigrants gotta go, there's nothing you can do to change it

Anonymous(25-29)10 moI'm not an American citizen. But I would say Yes. Because I'd not really be happy if random people walk around in my country without proper documents or a visa.

But what does that have to do with you?
Opinion Owner10 mo@SmokinAces2000 that's why I mentioned I'm not an American citizen and have no plans to go there , but if I talk about my own country , id say yes. Can you read?
- 10 mo
I’m talking about the part where you said “I'd not really be happy if random people walk around in my country without proper documents or a visa.”
Opinion Owner10 mo@SmokinAces2000 Yeah I said in my country not America , what's wrong in that?
- 10 mo
I just said what does that have to with you. If someone who is undocumented lives on the whole other side of your country objectively you aren’t affected at all
Opinion Owner10 mo@SmokinAces2000 duh 🙄, I just said that if someone undocumented lives in my country I won't be happy about that so I just said yes in the sense that if I was American id feel the same.
- 10 mo
Well I guess a better question would have been why does it bother you but you are welcome to your opinions
Opinion Owner10 mo@SmokinAces2000 because if anyone can enter any country illegally why the hell should the others have documents or passports , just open all the borders and let people migrate or live wherever they want to. This used to happen 500 to 1000 years ago right? it's just unfair that some people can do it without any consequences and others can't.
