What are some wars that don't get a whole lot of appreciation or attention?

Spanish American War (1898) 🇺🇸🇪🇸🇨🇺⚓

Those Indian Wars, especially in the Western US

I was recently reading about the Northwest Indian wars. I found out one of the cities I lived in was used to launch cross border raids against the native tribes of the area.

I have a big interest in early wars in the Americas. People sort of think that the inky wars fought in America were the Civil War, War of 1812, and Revolutionary War. But the Spanish were having wars against the natives of the Americas all the way back in the 1500s.

A LOT of people don’t know anything about the Beaver Wars. It was an absolutely fascinating period in American history.
