ha, doubt it or not sure. GOP thinks they are a reflection of Christ on some issues... and maybe those, but not all.

He'd probably vote independent, but would care for those down... emotionally and basic needs.

Govt is really about how to re-distribute wealth and spend others production for security of the country. It's very expensive, but we live in the best of times since we've got the magic printing press of the planet... for now... thanks to our military power to force others hands. Won't last.

Of the two parties I'd see Jesus being more likely to go for the GOP if those were the only two options.

I see Jesus being more of a Libertarian than otherwise. He has done nothing but piss the ruling class (Pharisees) off by essentially existing and violating their Sabbath laws.

Some say that Jesus says to pay taxes but what was actually said was to give Caesar what belongs to him and to God what belongs to God. The context made it clear that the Pharisees were watching so who knows what Jesus would have actually said.

My guess is that God created the material the money was minted on so it ultimatly belongs to God. Since the Pharisees were there, it got told as an anti-theft message and the Pharisees accepted it because they belive the money really belongs to Caesar.

There is no national law as to suffrage requiring citizenship. (There can't be under constitutional grounds.) It just so happens that each state requires it.

Jesus believes in truth and light. a vote for Trump is a vote for both. Trump will shine a bright light on the deep state and bring forth the truth about how the government has worked against people.

Jesus wouldn’t vote at all. He was concerned about the kingdom of heaven, not of earth. He frustrated all the political factions of his place and time: the Sanhedrin, the Zealots, the Romans.

@strateguy632 All he was saying by that is that it isn’t wrong to pay taxes. I don’t disagree that application of his teachings can sway a person one way or another. However, Jesus never said “support the Hellenistic faction,” or “support the Zealots.” And there is always another option: withdrawing from politics when the game is rigged or all parties are objectionable.

Jesus was apolitical so I don't know that he would have voted for either party. He certainly wouldn't be pleased by the politicization of Christianity.
