Why are some people so good at seeing things in other people but not seeing things in themselves?

Sometimes they see qualities in people they hate so much. Oh how they rant and rave. Yet… At the same time. They never see those attributes in themselves

It’s easy for some people to judge others… than take into consideration/acknowledgement of their own flaws, mistakes, accountability, red flags, or wanting to grow. They’re also the type that might be hypocritical, egotistical, or arrogant in their own ways.

Why do you think psychiatrists go and see other psychiatrists when they are suffering?
It is very easy to heal others when it is part of their job, but not so easy to see things in themselves.. the keyword here is 'objective.'
It is extremely hard to be objective when you are emotionally involved.
That is the reason.
