yes. it indicates that you are faking some aspect/s of your personality and/or integrity and that falseness is what they are seeing through, to the truth of you. there are one offs where the false you presented is to cover up or hide a good person though. an example-ish of this could be an undercover cop infultrating a crime organization but more often is something like the coworker or friend who goes behind your back and talks down about you or actively sabotages you at work or relationships.
