My thoughts depend more on the situation than the people around me. But with people around me, I'm more engaged in activities we do together than in my thoughts :D

So, when I'm alone, I try to solve the most recent problems, make some retrospection about the most concerning events and make needed decisions. Sometimes, I need to wait and calm my thoughts and emotions, and then I drift into the worlds of my stories or try to review already written text.

It mostly depends on my mood. Some nights I question existence and other nights my head is blank. Some nights I am criticizing my body and eating habits or i am congratulating myself for my new found confidence. There are so few people who know if I am hurting just by my eyes. But most nights.. i am missing people.

Very thought provoking question, my dear... but I'm not sure how to respond? I try to think of the caller, who he/she is and what they have been in my life and carry on the conversation from there. Before that, I am probably where SHE is, on the balcony looking over the city or the ocean.

If no one is around me, I am engaged in my own thoughts. If someone shows up while I am engaged in my own thoughts; I will give myself a moment to file them away, then address that person.

What happens varies from situation to situation. Sometimes you may get a quick response, other times you may get a slow response and believe I am ignoring you.
