What’s something you only do when nobody sees you?

Question

I watch romantic movies and laugh and cry loudly of happiness when they end well.

Once my brother caught me in the process of happily crying at the happy ending and teased me for whole week for that.

So these days I only watch them alone. Would be awkward to be seen by anyone.

Life can happen and takes away any and all remaining dignity. I own everything openly anymore. The sting is often satisfying.

The other day a little thing happened just to give some form of decent reply... I was eating a sandwich when a big box delivery arrived.
I looked around the garage and ended up putting the sandwich with paper towel in my mouth meeting the driver at the end of the driveway.

He just grinned at me and walked past me to put it in my garage. Took me a sec to get it back out to thank him. Turned out a fun moment. lol

Sing Latin, Italian, and Spanish classical songs ( I love classical crossover); some favorites are Pie Jesu, Ave Maria, L'Ultima Notte (Josh Groban), Un Giorno Per Noi. I never had formal training so I doubt I'm any good. I just love the music.

And obvious things that I think that most people probably do privately.

I practice speaking. I've always done it. Presentations I have to give at meetings, or once in a great while, what I will say to some woman I want to ask out.

Most of my day is alone, so I do a lot of things. It's a good time to do laundry, good time to work (my schedule is fairly open, just as long as I catch up). Good time for virtual meetings... no worries about privacy.

I often end up yelling at machines that aren't working the way they have been... so... kind of cursing the engineers and programmers. They keep changing things, moving stuff around, and the programs I used to know pretty well no longer make sense (like how Facebook does things) Then I have to look up answers online, but even they're usually vague (or they're meant for the 2018 version...) so they're less than helpful. It ends up taking hours to find something they've now hidden that used to take 5 minutes.

I also have a bad habit of overthinking and focusing on stupid things I said or did... Jeez, if I talked to friends like I talked to me, I'd be a jerk.

There's a movie called "Just friends" (Ryan Reynolds, Amy Smart). If you've seen the movie, the car freakout scene (Where Ryan's character starts freaking out about the mildly stupid things he said) is pretty familiar. But... sometimes it's not quite this bad... and sometimes I can play it off as I'm just on the phone with someone; "hang up" and save face a little.
