Suddenly everyone is an engineer and knows exactly how it happened.
LMAO
Suddenly everyone is an engineer and knows exactly how it happened.
Im not an engineer , nor am I from the USA..
YES , a giant loaded vessel hit a structural paillon ,
But this bridge is near the Port right? These vessels coming in and out all the time? Surely this would have been part of a contingency plan when this bridge was constructed in the 70s?
Can someone please explain , all the parts I must be missing? Maybe a qualified engineer or bridge building architect? I just would have thought this would have been part of the entire process.
(ahem) I'm an engineer. A bridge engineer, a civil engineer, an electrical engineer - you name it. The bridge collapsed because this giant ship crashed into it. Apply a force and (surprise, surprise) you'll be able to knock something over. Apply a strong enough force, and you can do things like demolish buildings and bridges.
There's really no mystery to solve here. :)
No you're not.
You're cringy.
Oh shit I remember this account. You're a bot. Unironic that the account is called Siri.
You are most definitely a bot writing nonsensical mytakes about a quote that isn't even from Marcus Aurelius.
And the quote isn't even stoicism. Actual bot.
You went on a whole schizo rant about Jordan Peterson and stoicism. And I guess if it's on an image and it has a quote it must be true right? Literally a bot lol.
And regretfully I did read that schizo writing. I wish I never did.
Jordan Pe... Look, you're delusional.
Why am I even talking to you? It's standard practice that when you yourself are guilty of something (or ARE something, in this case a bot) to deflect attention from yourself by claiming that someone else is what you are. You're doing this right now Mr. Bot.
How are Amy and Brad doing? They're your best friends aren't they?
@siri137
This guy is a fucking moron. A bot? He must be using his allotted Internet time on this site.
The extent of my knowledge: Paying attention in physics class tells me that something made to take massive downward force usually isn't made to take massive lateral force. So when a 200k ton object comes to slam in to something even at 6-8 Knotts, that's still A LOT of mass with A LOT of momentum.
Lmao

There's always going to be the online experts that have all the answers and are 100% convinced they're right about everything.
They'll be wrong as usual... and 2 weeks later, they won't remember what they were so wrong about and they'll be 100% correct (or so they think) about something new.
It's a never-ending cycle.
This Boat and bridge is just the new current thing... give it a few days and those people will shut up while the facts start to slip out like that dookie I just took.
Nah man. It's more logical they all have a back up engineering degree.
😂 🤣 I'm sure they do... just give it 2 more weeks and that degree will be in something else.
Sad, but true.
I do not claim to be an engineer. Nor do I watch the news. I wait for people like you to inform me a bridge nowhere near me, that will not effect my travels, has collapsed.
Thanks by the way.
No idea. I'm still trying to work out why the Titanic played chicken with an iceberg. I mean.. Oh look there's an iceberg, shall we avoid it? Nah, lets see who blinks first!!!
I’m not engineer, but I am a tug captain. I can’t speak much for the bridge design but I can tell you exactly what happens with the ship
But yeah, as always everyone has their 2 cents but no actually clue what they’re talking about
What I would like to know is, why is Biden rushing to tell everyone U. S. taxpayers are going to pay for all the damage to the bridge, and to the people who died? What about the company and the country that owns the ship? And it's insurance?
I don't see what the confusion here is? Bridges are designed to deal with gravity, wind and waves.
Not to be rammed by what? 100 000+ tons of mass sideways.
Are you an engineer?
Not suddenly. I design steel truss frames for a living.
No you don't.
You'll just use chatgpt. The fact you are trying to prove yourself shows that you're not.
Type to me something that would prove you're an educated person.
You are so wrong lol. An educated person can display critical thinking skills, have better syntax and grammar. Not only that, they can describe the information they know in better detail. You named 4 random words and you think that proves what you're saying? lmao, get the fuck off my question.
Why would I block you? You don't affect me.
Beyoncé said it best “there are so many online experts with no expertise”🤣🤣
But seriously I’m more focused on them finding all the people that went missing that was in that incident. They can worry about rebuilding that shii later on
Listen I have made Lego bridges, Popsicle stick bridges, and endured watching bridges of Madison county. So my opinion is definitely valid.
My sympathies. Everyone is also a mental health expert. I'm a Neuropsychologist.
it's the same way if you cook and don't burn the ramen noodles, YOU'RE a Chef. When you lift your fat ass out of bed, you're a weightlifter. 🤪
Same way everyone was an engineer when the WTC was destroyed.
Did you have a question…? Or just being whiny little bitch?
It's just human nature.
And what about it is human nature?
You're right about this.
@KokoroRamen oh look an xper lvl 1 bot spamming my question.
@KokoroRamen I don’t answer to bots.
