What is with the big deal about the Earthquake in New Jersey?

No one makes a fuss about a Earthquake that magnitude here in the UK and that is even rarer. People's obsession with USA.

The big deal is that New Jersey serves as a giant landfill for New York. A quake there can unearth a tor**** of rotting food scraps, discarded diapers, and other unsavory items from the Yankees. And as the wind blew across the landfill known as New Jersey, it will carry with it sickening odors that can be smelled all over the world. Not to mention, the entire population of New Jersey would be out of a job covering up toxic crap from the neighboring state.

NYC has some old tall buildings. A earthquake could probably do some damage to those. So it's not about the rarity but the damage it could possibly do.

I'm not sure that's even possible with that tall of buildings. In areas that get earthquakes a lot they have short buildings. Obviously NYC doesn't have the room to make 1000s of short buildings

Most Asian countries have managed it alright, they can withstand quakes over magnitude 6

You don't need to protect us from Russia, the only problem is that some countries are not going to allow you to take control of the world. Russia would not pose a threat to us if we didn't have you as a so called ally. And your president has already given into them.

And there is no greater ally to the UK, than the United States of America. We're the only country that can challenge Russia with our arsenal. Anyway, China's technology is ancient compared to ours. We have infantry fighting vehicles with computer stabilized cannons, two of them destroyed a main battle tank of Russia's, the T90M.

We have enough nuclear weapons to whipe China off the map 1,000 times. And if you think China is your friend, you should open your eyes. They're helping Russia in Ukraine, and have gone as far as to threaten to send troops to Ukraine to help Russia defeat them
