What would you do if you had some kind of organ cancer, and you discovered that a replacement could be cloned for you?

I ask this cause it involves a very touchy subject, human cloning.

On one hand it could be massively beneficial, because there would be zero risk of rejection. On the other hand it could be a slippery slope where you clone a whole person possibly.

Honestly I don’t see anything wrong with cloned organ replacements. I mean you could theoretically clone any organ so long as you can keep the tissue alive with circulating blood. Then just implant it into the body. Voila. You have a new heart.

A replacement organ can be cloned, we've been able to do that for a long time now. The issue is the cost, its not cheap to clone organs. There is no "slipperly slope". Stem cells can be gathered from your urine, fat, etc, and used to clone any organ you need.

Its just very expensive.
