Everything I see on the paper makes me reply "None of my business" so I stopped ~44
I still buy newspapers for wrapping things in. The idea of wrapping up rancid things in newspaper is a delightful and truly decadent experience for my senses. The act of enclosing foul-smelling objects in the crisp, yet absorbent pages of the newspaper creates a tantalizing blend of odors that is simply irresistible to my olfactory receptors.
I relish the opportunity to tightly bundle up items such as spoiled fish, rotten eggs, or moldy cheese in layers of newsprint, knowing that with each fold and crease, I am intensifying the pungent aroma that will greet my nostrils once the package is unwrapped.
The amalgamation of smells that permeate the newspaper as it encapsulates these odorous treasures is a symphony of stench that I cannot resist. The sour milk and pungent body odor intermingling with the faint scent of ammonia and stale beer create a heady concoction that sets my senses on fire.
And when the time comes to unwrap my malodorous parcel, the anticipation is palpable. The moment the first whiff of the potent combination of rancid aromas hits my nose, I am transported to a euphoric state of olfactory ecstasy, reveling in the putrid beauty of the foul scents that surround me.

Of course.
These media moguls still have a lot of political clout. Part of the reason people are becoming more fucking stupid is they are relying on social media. When all the real opinions that matter and government policies are shaped by newspaper media.
I avoid political issues when I read the newspaper and I also avoid positivity stories cause it is fake positivity and not real positivity. My favourite topic is Crime but our newspaper is rigged, they don't let you read crime stories unless you reveal your identity cause they use your use of that section to detect possible criminals, assuming you will read about the crime if you committed the act.
I was literally reactive to the ink. I went unconscious after a sudden horrible headache and dizziness in 6th grade during a class assignment with newspapers. Modern tech has saved my life. lol
But no. I get more than enough bits of news from neighbors and friends.

I'll read sections of it now. — arts, or anything that's fun or particularly related to my professional industries. Anything that's general news (global news, local news, blah blah) comes in an emailed digest so I don't have to plow through propaganda and nonsense.
It's sort of in my job description to read the newspaper because we have to give current events to the patients at the mental institution I work at.
I haven't seen a paper in 4 years and, seeing as how most of what they print outside of the weather, sports, want ads, comics, obits and SOME local news is all bullshit, I can't say as I miss it, at all!! And the same goes for t. v., which I mostly stopped watching back in the early `90's.

No, but the Miami Herald is a Awesome newspaper, and if it was delivered to my house, yes I would read the sports section and some other news articles Plus the entertainment section and the weather and the movie section for the theaters and things to do in Miami like art festivals, coming to town things like that and other festivals
I have not read a newspaper in years. They tell lies and it is free online, although i believe they tell more lies knowing most people read the headline and not the article. they now rely on clickbait to get clicks so ads pay out.
Most of the papers in the UK are based on a American agenda to turn the public against British culture. They are also obsessed with promoting woke rubbish and help cover up the inhuman way disabled people are treated in society.
Yep. I haven't subscribed for years but my neighbor leaves his on my porch after he's done with it (hope he doesn't read it on the toilet).
Unfortunately the newspapers are getting thinner and more irrelevant, which makes people quit buying them, which dries up their revenue, so they get thinner...
Downward spiral.
I honestly don't remember the last time I read one
I read online news... if I feel like I really want to know :D
I'm not one of the news, it's just too depressing. I prefer to read novels, short stories and a bit of poetry, it leaves me in a more positive mood.

I read them and I do write for them as well. Mostly the epaper but, I do have two subscribtions.
I print news and commentary articles off sites I trust and read them off a clip board (doing that right now about the Iran attack on Israel). That way, i can avoid fluff propaganda and ads.
Always have, it's part of me staying informed. The TV evening news can only cover a certain amount of topics in a certain depth.
I do still read my local newspaper, and l sure as hell don’t get my news from social media or any news channels that spread bullshit.
I haven't read a newspaper in probably 15 years. The last one I read was much smaller (fewer pages) than what I remember growing up.
I read them on line when i can. I think that most newspapers are just liberal rags that lie to protect democrats.
Occasionally if it's business related or a personal interest
All the time, but my local "Windsor Star" has been trash for DECADES !!!
