Depends on the position and its demands. If I put my own software engineering team together for a product, I'm looking for talent just in the key devs. For the rest, I'm looking maybe for attitude given the dichotomy in that I want a very cohesive team with minimal conflicts. Most of all, I'm looking to create a team of very like-minded people.
I wouldn't even hire people with massive age gaps between them, for example. It's more important to me to have a like-minded team than a bunch of really talented people who don't get along. Great products to me are made with a reasonably shared vision. That shared vision and the way everyone is on the same page is far more important to me than the idea that every single individual member on the team is some rock star in talent.
Depends on the job. If it’s customer service based or team based, then I think a good attitude is best. But if it’s a mostly solo job with minimal interaction with people, then talent/skill is more important than their attitude.
