The Republic of Maldives has imposed a ban on Israeli settlers entering the country in response to the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
I am not sure I would feel comfortable in a country that bans people for their religious or national affiliation. In Canada racism used to be illegal before Justin Trudeau decided he wanted to turn the entire country against East Asia, knowing they would not vote for him after he jailed an innocent Chinese woman.
Considering that the Maldives will cease to exist in a several decades, I don't think any Israeli or anyone else really gives a shit what the Maldives think. The only people who care at the moment are India and China since the Chinese want to use the Maldives for military purposes and the West and India aren't too keen on that idea.

I don't think Israelis care or do most countries! Also their is no data of how much import or export Maldives has with Israel, giving an indiciation that its not significant and hence is just another political play.
Ha Israel is only treating Gaza the same way Gaza is treating them. But of course that doesn't fit the current narrative to admit. Ultimately the Maldives is too small to matter. Any country that actually matters has no issue with israel

The Maldives (a place I once visited) is one of the most Islamist countries in the world, so it's not surprising that they'd do that.
I had previously decided that I didn't want to visit the Maldives under the current Islamic regime and this just confirms that decision.
