I will see your Martin "Care Bear" Goldberg and raise you Stardusk The Thinking Ape:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/MnvYbyX42EEI don''t know if the people now becoming "Passport Bros" are a few years too late, or perhaps even a generation too late, and the ship has already sailed (or the plane alreaady took off) but either way, the caveats apply: DO YOUR HOMEWORK:
--Learn the language at least rudimentary and ideally fluently, including dialects
--Study the history, customs and culture of the place extensively, right down to regions of the countries in question because they can vary (diversity, right?)
--Think about living there as an expat in her world, rather than bringing her to yours
--And realize that if you DO bring her to yours, she will expect you to bring her relatives over the years, one by one, too. You are likely marrying the whoe family
I have retired expat friends in SE Asia and they live like kings. The dollar goes a lot further there and they found happiness. So good for them. Sana all
