- What Is The 4B Movement?
The 4B movement is a women’s empowerment movement that first originated in South Korea in response to rampant misogyny and violence, with proponents such as Jung Se-young and Baeck Ha-na. As a result of the 4B movement, the birth rate is now the lowest it has ever been, and the government is now even trying to pay women to have children as a result. The 4 “Bs” refer to abstaining from the following behaviors:

I'm not even sure what they are running from.

They don't have an institution that ensures that their husbands get to take most of their possessions, money, pets and kids whenever a divorce happens no matter how benign the reason is.

They don't have an organization that is a government lobby and controls the media purely to unleash propaganda saying how women are the cause of all human suffering especially to men (i. e. "women who can't have sex with men are terrorists who go out to murder men because they hate them.").

They don't have a movement created by said organization that says that people should believe men no matter what they accuse women of and how absurd the claim is, otherwise they are they very thing the men are accusing women of that are in hiding. The same movement that gained so much influence that even male employers won't hire men because of how much of a liability they could cause if they ever felt threatened by their fellow female employees, regardless of whether or not they actually did anything threatening.

They don't have a nanny state that makes sure that men get all their needs met by extorting women from their hard earned money by threatening to toss them into a cage or steal your property if they don't comply and giving it to men, patting them on the head saying "it's ok, none of this is your fault. There is no need to make yourself useful, our extortion agency has your back."

They don't have a justice system that not only let's men get away from beating their wives, but will likely arrest the women instead because they have, in writing, that a man can only be violent in a case of self defense.

They also don't have a justice system that has the definition of rape written specifically that only women can be charged with rape, so men can rape a woman all he wants becuase that doesn't fit the legal definition. This justice system also doesn't consider a man raping an underage girl as rape and that the rapist would keep the baby and make the underage girl pay him child support.

But men have all this, just switch the sexes. That sounds like something worth running from to me.

So what are they running from? The occasional douchebag that does things that are clearly illegal and you would actually have to dig to find someone who disagrees?

It's a bad thing that women in America feel its needed here. 4B is a protest against sexism and violence. I don't know if it works to bring an end to either, but if it works to end it on an individual scale by eliminating the most likely source from its members' lives: a male partner, then I guess it's not a bad choice in the meantime while hopefully the bigger problem can be better addressed.

Actually, I don't wonder at all. But I do wonder where all of this criticism and dislike of the opposite sex, from both sides comes from? I've always enjoyed the company and relationships of the men I'm around, and I just love dating and uh... tangeling with guys!! :) I am honestly confused why it is that there is so much conflict and tension between us.

Simple answer it is from a very loud very vocal minority of women and very shitty abusive minority of men. Men are being labeled as abusive because of that minority and in turn men are realizing they can't tell the difference between those toxic women and the genuine women. Further made worse by government incentivized things like divorce, marriage, child support, etc. These things have made it so both sides don't trust the other while also needing the other.

This sounds as though they are copying MGTOW but they do not understand the philosophy behind it, where 4B acts as an organisation, whereas MGTOW is the opposite it is NOT an organisation but each Man goes on his own individual path.

We need to spread out. Establish new towns or cities and have people move there. We haven't done that in who knows how long and we have just been cramming people in these big cities.

Unemployment might be a sign but it sure as hell doesn't prove it that we are overpopulated. I guarantee you if there is an effort to establish more locations, more people will have jobs, places to live and housing costs will be lower due to an increase in supply.
