One political party to remain unnamed is going out of their way to ensure actual violent criminals get off scot free. Meanwhile they treat law abiding gun owners like the scourges of the Earth. The only explanation i can conjure seems like a fantastic radical conspiracy. Someone make it make sense.
You want to make a state deep blue you need to export the red. How do you do that? Make them take their working class skills and solid tax base and leave to places elsewhere. What’s left behind is poor and unskillled who have been manipulated into believing the Democratic Party alone is their only stalwart against racism, poverty, and whatever fascist line they have been fed. How do you get the conservative working class to leave? A non-stop assault on their every value and want. From a trans agenda (because truly 1% of the US population IS NOT that crucial but the reaction is real), to anti-gun, pro-criminal, defund police, Marxist education, and “it takes a village” grass roots socialism BS will make God fearing, involved parents, who want safe streets, low crime, and funded cops to make their hometowns safe to live in.
These poor people left behind vote blue and in the end all this is for is the electoral college votes of a handful of states. Want to know which ones? Well, the just happen to be swing states AND have a collection of George Soros funded progressive “criminal Justice reform DAs” who go soft on crime.

Sure. It's actually quite simple: they want you to be afraid, and to feel unable to protect yourself. To think that you, personally, are powerless to improve your situation. That way, you'll be reliant on them to help you, and to keep you safe, even from threats that never actually existed (or that weren't really threats; Covid won't be the last one, I promise you).
Manufacture a crisis and sell the cure; it's an old trick. Look at the Gulf of Tonkin, or the campus rape "crisis" that let Joe Biden directly undermine due process (twice!). It's usually not this blatant, but social media has fostered an atmosphere so censored and confrontational that they don't even have to hide it any more.
That’s the fantastic radical conspiracy theory that i hope isn’t true. It’s the only thing that makes sense though. I really hope someone can offer a better explanation.
Oh, don't misunderstand me- I'm not saying this is some radical notion to break down democracy and establish martial law. It's not nearly so extreme, but it IS the same core idea: foment discontent, create and enhance an atmosphere of fear, and pass ever-more restrictive legislation giving yourself and your political allies ever-more power.
It's the same thing we saw with the "Patriot" Act.
They want you dependant upon them. If you have to come to them for your very survival, they own you. They have control over you, because what they give they can take away. Once you can't take care of yourself, there's nothing you can do about it. Look how easy it was to control the masses with fear during covid.
This is just two judges, and neither decision was influenced by a political party. We've seen conservative judges allow convicted young white male sex offenders to go free because "they made one mistake".
About 99% of the time, i would agree with that assessment. But neither of these cases is directly affected by financial affluence. The career criminal surely isn’t wealthy. Neither is the white collar hobbyist. Care to expand on your response so that i might understand?
