The thing is democrats campaign on competent service and the rule of law so this would be hypocrisy. Republicans campaign on validating christian nationalism, pursuit of self interests, and hypocrisy so pardoning themselves is kind of a campaign promise.

it's not the job of the current potus to do that. it's the successor. and i hear nothing about trump saying much about the current potus' situation. he's keeping quiet. letting his enemy make his mistakes.

but we all know that biden will never face charges. he won't win a second term, but if he's not guilty now, then he won't be in less than a year

and that is the job of biden, the successor. if biden doesn't do it, which he won't, then trump doesn't really have to worry anyway. i was reading something about presidential immunity. it was very unclear on any determination; but it certainly seems biden has it! i suppose that's why they wait until after you get kicked out of office to press charges?

yes, but we can only do that if we know the house and senate will go through with it. if not there's no point. and the scotus is owned by the potus at the time. nowadays it's kind of scary what might happen. i'm not sure how much longer i'll stay here.
