How many reasons why russian army is doomed?

I hear there are LOTS of desertions, plus educated Russian men are fleeing their country in droves, leaving the Russian Army with a bunch of dullards.

@handsomelad70. Yes, there is a serious "brain drain" going on in Russia. Up until now the conscription has been mostly from the rural areas, lower classes,. prisons, etc. The wealthier and smarter hit the bricks.

@KrakenAttackin Probably because the idea of "freedom" has been beaten out of Russians, from the Czars to the Communists to Putin. Two centuries or more of oppression can stifle people's urge to rebel against injustice.

the only teeth are artillery. compared to nato jets tanks etc, russia has about 2 teeth instead of 12 in nato.

Lots. Not sure what a “win” would look like for them. They could major success and occupy large swaths and still deal with insurgency. It killed Hitler’s Wehrmacht in Russia- ironically…

partisans? they made small scratches. insurgency didn't hurt eermscht. it took russia 2 years,
soviet army, with American equipment pushed nazi out of ukraine all 1943... and out of west russia all 1944.
