@normalice. Big city policing is "fire brigade" work, that is, you run from problem to problem. Race determines itself, meaning if you are acting like an asshole, cops show up. The idea that cops (of any color) are riding around "looking for niggers to beat" is laughable. Frankly, cops would rather hide in their favorite parking lot with a news paper and cup of coffee.

It's laughable until it happens on camera then it was just a "bad apple" that was in the force for 10 years with a long list of complaints no one did anything about. Because police unions are more concerned with giving police immunity than giving them the sort of money that's appropriate for performing what is at once democracy's most fundamental promise and most dire need 🤷‍♂️

There is a sort of "profile" for those who are most likely to aspire to be cops, though. And it has nothing to do with standing up for people they don't like when the people they do like are in the wrong. Quite the opposite, if anything. The problem is pretty much everyone already does that. Cops just generally don't have to go to jail when they overdo it.
