Yes.

I care about what people think in the sense that I don't want people thinking very specific, negative stuff about me. I don't mind it if someone thinks I'm stupid or ugly or whatever.

The kind of thing I get nervous about is when people think things like "Dan forces himself on women," or "Greg runs a puppy mill," or "Allen has Autism." These are very specific claims, and no one ever bothers to fact check stuff like that because they know it's awkward and not really any of their business. They just assume that the rumors don't come out of nowhere and would rather avoid the subject entirely by avoiding being associated with someone that.

Stupid, careless people say mind boggling stuff like that all the time and it TERRIFIES me.

I mean, everyone judges everyone whether they realize it or not, and you cannot make everyone like you. I'm not wasting my life worrying about what other people think of me, or if they actually like me or not. My purpose on earth isn't to be accepted by everyone, and have everyone love me lol, it's to fulfill MY aspirations, work toward the life I desire, and have fun along the way!

People and their thoughts about me are their personal opinions, based off of hardly anything sometimes but physical attributes. I really do not care, it's not my main focus and never has been.

Yes but i grew up in a household where love and affection would be withheld if i did something very wrong in their eyes or my brothers would be placed above me. I was a glass child, growing up, same as my older siblings. No, i wasn't entitled or anything like that. It was my younger siblings' accomplishments that mattered or were remembered is all.

So i want to be liked by the people around me. It's exhausting yet i cannot help it. Apparently its ingrained in me now and is a hard habit to break. Fongers crossed that age and experiences breaks it

I've seen people who don't care about it at all, or who pretend very well not to care. The percentage varies. Even if we say we don't care, what people think about us affects us in terms of energy and return. It is necessary to cut ties for negative energy. Not every person's opinion is important and it is not true, but ignoring "none" is a healthy way of behaving.
