I wouldn't say that's true. I say that's more about extreme thoughts than bad or good.
Humans like to think of everything such extremes which is typically a survival instinct. Extremes by sound minded at a rationale thought are bad but to those thinking in extremes they are good.

Extreme come from natural instinct and simplifying what we have to do. Every animal has innate simplicity to it including ourselves but we've come a long way and sometimes we just like to think more extreme because it's more simple.

Examples, it's so much simpler to say there is a god right? rather than study the universe and how it truly works just say god be done with it ah simplicity.
Now a more bad but silly yet true thought, it's so much simpler to jump the extreme and think yup this person has done something to me rather than not because then I would have to figure out what events led to this and if it even happened?

Humans like these absolutes and I'm sure you think your bad thoughts are absolutes too. And been on the extreme ends of things. Therefore it's hard for us to break that kind of thinking, and even then we still just have it but more limited and aware.

Damn good question! I think the bad stuff gets reinforced more often and more deeply than the good. I used to think that we could do better with more positive reinforcement. But this latest crop of entitled twats has me second guessing that thought. There’s got to be a happy medium between constantly telling people they’re lower than whale shit and repeatedly telling them they can do no wrong, right?

When you're a person with normal intelligence, you consider always good and bad options. Unfortunately reality will teach you that your bad options you predicted before happen much more often than good one. I call it fatalistic thinking and I think too much of it lead often to bad results of my situation induced due negative thinking. If we want or don't want, in many situation we create subconsciously negative outcomes with our own negativity.
That's why you should think positively but you should be mentally, emotionally and financially prepared for the worst.

Because we all have selfishness inside of ourselves , we mainly want things our way , but we tend to knkw the consequences of our selfish actions and try to not make those mistakes again. Most relationships fail because of selfish mindsets , if you can’t remove selfishness for your partner? They more than likely won’t remove it for you.

Negative feelings have a stronger "kick," for lack of a better term.
